Dashel helmets remind us of head-huggers from times gone by, with elegant lines, clean finishing and a sublime colour palette. Dashel means ‘thistle’ in Cornish. This doesn’t mean you’re going to have a prickly feeling when you put your helmet on - Dashel manufactures all of their helmets in their Cornwall-based facility.
Not satisfied with the industry norm of EPS, Dashel use an EPP material called Arpro for the helmet liner (this is the inner part), which is both multi-impact and biodegradable. The shell (or outer part) of the helmet is made out of hand-laid lightweight carbon fibre. It is all finished off in the building where it began where it is shipped off, ready for a lifetime of two-wheeled adventures.
