The long awaited PDW Bindle Rack has arrived and is sure to ruffle some feathers in the bikepacking world. The PDW Bindle Rack is a lightweight alloy frame which mounts to the seatpost and provides a sturdy fabric flat bed for carrying a drybag, tent, sleeping bag/mat or other gear. Compression straps secure the load to the rack and also secure through the saddle rails so everything is really well attached. The rack is rated to hold up to a respectable 5.34kg.
The Bindle has two key advantages compared with bikepacking saddle bags. Because it is a solid structure which is bolted onto the seatpost, you don’t experience the side to side sway which can be an issue when using a bikepacking saddle bag. For riders with limited clearance between the saddle and the rear wheel, it is a real revelation: whereas most bikepacking saddle bags struggle with rear tyre rub, because the Bindle rack is solid and can be attached fairly close to the saddle (PDW recommends a minimum of four inches from the saddle to the rack), it can make saddlebag-style luggage an option where this might not be feasible otherwise.
Other great features on the Bindle include the quick release clips on the straps, so you can easily get your gear on and off the rack, and the two bolt mounting system which takes seconds to attach to the seatpost. If you’re looking to use a dry bag with the Bindle, we would recommend the Sealline Baja 10 litre.

You'll have to cover the cost of shipping the return to us, but apart from that, as long as it comes back to us in the same condition we sent it out to you, then all will be fine. Read more here.
