At heart, the strength of the MCA Handlebar System lies in its flexibility. From trans-national trail routes to overnight road rides, the quest for storage space on the bike is a constant one. Bulging rear pockets and heavy panniers give way then to the MCA, where a 5-15 litre dry bag capacity and large accessory pocket stow everything you need using best-in-class lightweight fabrics.
Made by hand, the MCA has been at the centre of Porcelain Rocket’s push to expand bikepacking from trail riding into all forms of cycling. Indeed, the MCA is equally at home on a flat-bar commuter as it is a carbon road machine. The MCA's construction reflects its inherent well-tested toughness. A combination of 500D Cordura and VX21 (also know as XPAC) offer low weight, while bartacked seams at main stress points enhance durability. Easy to use Duraflex buckles finish off the construction, something for which you'll be silently thanking Porcelain Rocket when tired, cold or wet at ride's end.
Note - does not include dry bag, but will accept any 5-15L commercially available dry bag.
Compatibility is simple: it works with all handlebars (including drop bars), and attaches to said bars and head tube using HD Nylon webbing. With a 5-15 litre drybag strapped into the robust harness (a semi-rigid Rhinotek panel keeps things in place) you’ve got everything you need for a day's work or, paired with a Charlene Saddle Bag, a night's camping. The large accessory pouch is a welcome final addition - valuables, food and essentials are kept within arm's reach and protected by a YKK water-resistant zipper.

We really hope that you love your new bike or frame, 'cos what's better than a new bike? (Answer: two new bikes...). But, if you do have to return it, then please contact us beforehand. You'll have to cover the cost of shipping the return to us, but apart from that, as long as it comes back to us in the same condition we sent it out to you, then all will be fine. Read more here.
